چکیده
Cross-reactivities among tumor-associated antigens of rat mammary fibroadenomas and among these fribroadenomas and a rat mammary carcinoma were investigated by in vitro techniques. Lymphocytes from five female W/Fu rats bearing mam mary fibroadenomas were found to share a common reactivity against fibroadenoma target cells, as demon strated by lymphocyte cytotoxicity tests on iododeoxyuridine-125I-labeled target cells and by microcytotoxicity tests. These lymphocytes were also cytotoxic to target cells derived from a rat mammary carcinoma induced by 3,2'-

in this study,14 female sprague-dawley rats 55 days old were randomly divided into two control and experimental groups.2ml of 7,12-dimethylbenz{a} anthracene (DMBA) solution(20 mg of DMBA dissolved in 2 ml of corn oil) and 2 ml corn oil was eaten to each animal of test and control group respectively.tumor development was examined by milk line palpation once every week.during 3-5 months followin...
متن کاملHuman adenovirus type 9-induced rat mammary tumors.
Following subcutaneous inoculation of newborn Wistar-Furth rats with human adenovirus type 9 (Ad9), 16 of 16 female and 0 of 11 male rats developed mammary tumors. Tumor-positive animals usually developed tumors in multiple glands. Histopathological analyses indicated that three general categories of tumor could be identified. Mammary fibroadenomas were the most common tumor type encountered, b...

Objective(s): The present work intended to clearly define the most adequate humane endpoints in an experimental assay of mammary carcinogenesis in rats. Materials and Methods: Animals were observed twice a day; all parameters were registered once a week and the euthanasia endpoints were established in order to monitor the animal welfare/...
متن کاملE-Cadherin in Relation with the Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen of the Bilharzia Associ-ated and Non-Associated Urinary Bladder Carcinoma
Background: E-cadherin is a trans-membrane glycoprotein that plays a critical role in many aspects of cell adhesion as well as establishment and maintenance of epithelial cell polarity. Loss of the adhesive function of E-cadherin seems to promote invasive and metastatic properties of neoplastic cells. Objectives: The present study is a retrospective study aiming to evaluate the loss of E-cadher...

Objective- Breast cancer is one of the most serious problems in oncology. Alkaloids pyrrolizidine are widely found in nature and exhibited versatile biological activities. The aim of the present study was to assess anti-tumor activity of methyl 1,3-dioxo-1,1',2',3,5',6',7',7a'-octahydrospiro[indene-2,3'-pyrrolizidine]-2'-carboxylate (6) on 7,12 dimethylbenz(a) anthracene (DMBA)-induced mammary ...
